New design for Coles' flagship store in Chadstone

Coles approached The General Store to redesign their flagship location in the Chadstone shopping center in Melbourne. I was engaged to be part of the team developing this new concept.

The task involved a thorough analysis of food stores worldwide to identify best practices for the new design. This included revising the customer journey, focusing on end-of-aisle displays, and creating innovative ways to showcase products that align with healthier habits.

Emphasis was placed on various sections of the store, including Produce, Convenience, Wayfinding, and Healthy Habits.

Coles Chadstone opened its doors last year and is now recognized as a leader in food store design in Australia.
